Circular Economy Recycling Targets – A Big Challenge for Ireland

In a recent report by the European Commission there was established a common EU target for recycling 65% of municipal waste by 2035 and a common EU target for recycling 70% of packaging waste by 2030.  There are also recycling targets for specific packaging material such as paper and cardboard at 85%.
