David Tobin is an experienced environmental professional and Group Head of ESG and Sustainability at Panda. He holds degrees in Environmental Sciences from Coventry University and the University of Bath, with a professional focus on the circular economy, waste recovery, and renewable energy. With over 20 years’ experience across a range of heavy industries, David has held senior environmental management roles throughout his career. Since 2006, his work has been primarily focused on waste management, alternative fuels, and renewable energy, where he has developed extensive expertise in the sourcing, planning, licensing, development, and deployment of waste-derived and alternative fuels in Ireland. David has led renewable energy, recycling, and circular economy initiatives within Panda since mid-2017 and is a strong advocate for the significant untapped potential of the circular economy to drive sustainable growth in Ireland.
