With such a boom in construction and demolition activity going on in Ireland right now C&D waste is top of a lot of companies and organisations agendas.  Knowing what is and isn’t waste and keeping to those rules and regulations is key.  That is why we are delighted to announce that Dr. Mark Kelly, Lecturer in the Department of Building and Civil Engineering, Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology will be joining us at this year’s Irish Waste Management Conference to give a keynote presentation on Moving towards a Circular Culture within the Irish Construction Sector.

Mark has been actively involved in construction-related research over the past 19 years, leading several funded projects focusing on construction and demolition waste management, resource efficiency, the circular economy and building information modelling.
