Brian, who has sixteen years experience in the waste industry, joined Clean Ireland Recycling in 2008. As General Manager, Brian is also an integral part of the research and development team for the implementation of new technologies. Brian, a qualified engineer, with a degree in Manufacturing Technology and Mechanical Engineering has overseen multiple innovations including commissioning of the QuadPod – a unique four compartment commercial collection vehicle, opening Irelands’ first fast fill CNG station at the Clean Ireland Recycling Smithstown depot and the introduction of CNG waste collection vehicles. Brian is actively involved in the Irish Waste Management Association (IWMA) having previously held a board position.
