Leo Duffy – Programme Manager, National Waste Collection Permits Office

Leo Duffy is the Programme Manager for the National Waste Collection Permit Office at Offaly County Council.

Leo completed his Masters Degree in Environmental Protection from the Institute of Technology Sligo; His undergraduate degree was completed in Environmental Science, from the University of Limerick.

Leo has worked for over eleven years in waste regulation and enforcement in local authorities. As Programme Manager of the NWCPO he leads the operation and development of the office, specifically focusing on advancing IT systems, waste data management and administering permits to the ISO9001 standard.

Previously, he worked in environmental consultancy and environmental laboratories.
